At Legacy Glassware we take great care in packaging and shipping our premium decanters and glassware.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship nationally within Australia only.

Order Processing Times

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment is received, unless otherwise stated.

Orders are not processed or dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

During peak periods, promotions, product launches, or events outside our control, dispatch times may be longer.

Delivery Timeframes

Standard Shipping: 2- 8 Business days

Express shipping: 1 - 3 Business days

Delivery timeframes provided at checkout or in shipping confirmations are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times depend on the shipping carrier and destination. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather events, peak periods, or other factors outside our control. If goods are not supplied on time or within a reasonable time, businesses must provide a solution under Australian consumer law.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout / as a flat rate / free above $X and will be displayed before payment is completed.

Packaging

Due to the fragile and premium nature of our products, all orders are shipped in protective outer transit packaging designed to help reduce the risk of damage during delivery.

Please note that the product’s gift box or presentation box is not the shipping carton and may be placed inside additional protective packaging for transit.

Tracking

Where available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking updates and ensure someone is available to receive the parcel where required.

Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are accurate at the time of placing the order.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, or non-collection, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

Authority to Leave / Signature on Delivery

We may use shipping services that include tracking, signature on delivery, or other delivery protections for higher-value or fragile orders.

If authority to leave is selected by the customer, the parcel is left at the delivery address at the customer’s risk.

Damaged Parcels / Breakage on Arrival

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.

If your parcel or item arrives damaged, broken, chipped, cracked, incomplete, or appears to have been damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [your email address] and provide:

  • your full name

  • order number

  • proof of purchase

  • clear photos of the damaged item

  • clear photos of the internal packaging

  • clear photos of the outer shipping box

  • clear photos of the shipping label

This helps us assess the issue promptly and, where relevant, lodge a claim with the carrier. For higher-value parcels, carriers such as Australia Post offer optional Extra Cover, while standard compensation may be limited.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel is delayed, please first check the tracking information provided.

Australia Post notes that many delayed parcels still arrive within a few business days of the expected date, and enquiries can be lodged for items believed to be lost or unusually late.

If you believe your parcel is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us at [your email address] and we will assist with making reasonable enquiries with the shipping carrier.

International Orders

For international orders, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

International delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing or carrier delays.
